Directions from North Bend to the Full Marathon Start: 

  1. Take I-90E for 24 miles,

  2. Take exit 54 toward Hyak, at the top sign,

  3. 0.3 miles, turn (R) on WA-906 / Lake Mardee Rd.

  4. 150 ft, Turn (L) to stay on WA-906.

  5. 0.4 miles, Turn (R) onto NF-906 / Keechelus Boat Launch Rd

  6. 200 ft, turn (R)

  7. HYAK PARKING LOT will be on your left.

*If you park at Hyak Parking Lot - Snoqualmie Tunnel you MUST pay the day-use fee to avoid ticket fees. DROP OFF is PERMITTED. We are working on securing parking at the Start area for 2024.

Directions from North Bend to the Half Marathon start:

  1. Take I-90 E, Take Exit 38 toward State Patrol Fire Training Academy.

  2. Turn right onto SE Homestead Valley Rd and drive 1.75 miles.

  3. Drop off at the BUS DROP SIGNS

  4. There is a 1 mile hike to the half marathon start line up a trail.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are coming in from Issaquah, give yourself at least 30 minutes to drive and park.

8:00AM - 11:00AM: HALF MARATHON BUSES shuttle from the finish line to START AREA Parking

9:30am - 1:30pm: MARATHON BUSES shuttle from the finish line to START AREA Parking

Where is north bend?

Nearest airport:  Seattle (SEATAC), WA

The finish line for the race is in North Bend WA which is located 31 miles east of Seattle WA.  North Bend has limited hotel accommodations so we recommend hotels anywhere between Seattle to Issaquah (see TRAVEL INFO).  You may also need to rent a car if you are from out of town.  UBER is also an option.

AID STATIONS

12 aid stations will be provided along the course placed approximately 2 miles apart.  Aid stations are labeled A-L.  All aid stations will be staffed and have water. GATORADE and WATER will be provided at aid stations C, D, E, F, H, I, J, K.  Aid stations A, B, G  and L will have WATER ONLY.  Each aid station will be equipped with a first aid kit and Search and Rescue will be monitoring the course and medics at the finish line.

SPECTATORS

CAN TRACK ANY NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS AND VIEW LIVE PROGRESS ON A MAP.

Your friends and loved ones can track you on the course.  You will get live text updates for the
MARATHON:  Start line, 7 mile, 13.1 mile, 21 mile and Finish.

HALF MARATHON tracking is Start, 8 mile and Finish:


 RACE CUTOFF TIME

This race has a 6.5 hour time limit.  That equates to a 15 minute mile.  If you do not feel you can finish the race in the allotted time you may want to refrain from registering for this event.  We do understand that things can happen on the course.  There will be a sweeper on the course to pick up anybody who is unable to finish.  If it is a non-emergency, please note there may be a delay in getting to the finish.


Every participant will receive: 

  1. POST RACE Bus transportation from the FINISH LINE back to the Full or Half Marathon START

  2. Race bib, timing chip, and pace band

  3. Custom water-wicking race shirt

  4. Custom race bag with swag

  5. Race Medal (after you cross the finish)


BAG DROP:

Bag drop will be available before the race.  You can use the race bag provided or any personal bag provided your bag cinches closed and tight.  You must use the provided tear-off tag on your bib and attach it to your bag.  Please do not use gear check for valuables such as your cell phone, or jewelry, as we cannot be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Any and all unclaimed bags will be donated to the Salvation Army.

You must pick up all awards after the race on race day ONLY.  Award medals will not be mailed out after the event.  All awards can be claimed at the Awards tent after results are posted on race day.


BIKES ON THE COURSE

Bikes are allowed on the course.  If you have someone that would like to bring a bike on the bus, we do allow riders on the post-bus transportaion with bikes.  Limited to 20 cyclists on the buses.  NOTE:  Bikes on the course ARE NOT allowed to cross over the start and finish timing mats.  Bikes at the start will be allowed to travel through the tunnel in the start of the race, in front of the timing mat before the race starts or after the last runner.  Upon approaching the finish, cyclist will be directed around the finish line.


MEDICAL & TOILETS ON COURSE:

Medical and EMT's will be positioned at the 13 mile mark of the marathon (start of the half marathon) and at the finish.  Medical will have ATV's along the course in case of medical emergencies. 

Portable Toilets along the course are at most water stations  There are also toilets permanently located at the following locations: Mile 3, 9, 11.5 and at mile 21.  We will also have portable toilets brought in at Mile 13, (the half start) and of course, the start at Hyak and the finish.
