Course Details
• Marathon runners park at Hyak Sno-Park
• The course follows the scenic Palouse to Cascades Trail, including a short flat out-and-back
• Runners reach the Snoqualmie Tunnel (~mile 13) — headlamp or flashlight required
• The course continues downhill along the rail trail to the finish at Garcia in North Bend
• The first half is mostly flat and highly runnable
• Long, gradual downhill over the final 13 miles—ideal for negative splits
• Net downhill: ~1,000 feet
• Surface: smooth, hard-packed gravel rail trail—gentle on the legs and ideal for PRs and BQs
• Post-race shuttles return runners to Hyak (~1 mile walk to pickup—easy cooldown)
